                                 Grief and loss

There are 4 different types of grief.

Acute grief occurs initially after loss.

Integrated grief is a result of adaptation to loss.

Complicated grief dominates your life with no respite in site.

Disenfranchised grief is not openly acknowledged and is hard to see by others such as divorce, loss of another by suicide, or loss of sense of safety after trauma.
